A few things to know before you start.
Which audio inputs and file formats can I use?
You can upload MP3, WAV, M4A, or WebM audio up to 50 MiB and 15 minutes. Browser recording appears only when its current server policy enables it. You must have permission to process the audio you provide.
Which transcription options are available?
AudioToMIDI has Classic, Rock, and Universal profile contracts, with vocals, piano, drums, bass, guitar, strings, wind, and synthesizer as supported instrument categories. Studio shows only the profile and compatible instruments enabled by the server. The current direct API baseline is Universal, Piano, and MIDI; other choices require a reviewed enabled Studio mapping.
What are the anonymous conversion limits?
When the launch access policy is enabled, one anonymous complete-track conversion is available every 24 hours for audio up to 15 minutes; you can listen to the first 60 seconds before signing in. Separate 20-second Short Previews have no product-count quota, but abuse controls still apply. Failed, cancelled, and expired jobs do not use the full-track allowance or Credits.
What can I edit after conversion?
The focused MIDI editor lets you select a returned track, add or delete notes, adjust pitch, start time, duration, and velocity, quantize to 1/16, clean up notes shorter than 0.12 seconds, and undo or redo changes. It is not presented as a full DAW.
Can I compare the MIDI with my recording?
Yes. Source and MIDI playback share one timeline so you can listen for timing or note differences before editing.
Will editing overwrite my earlier MIDI?
No. Saving creates a new recoverable version, so you can keep an earlier state while continuing to refine the notes.
